Freedom is Valuable and Requires Personal Responsibility
We must be reminded of these truths if we are to maintain freedom and its benefits. The Hayek Group provides ongoing education to Northern Nevadans that emphasizes the importance of freedom of thought, personal responsibility, and financial literacy. We accomplish through monthly dinner meetings that feature a guest speaker. Our primary philanthropic initiative is to make the Dave Ramsay “Foundations in Personal Finance” curriculum available to all Northern Nevada High Schools.
High Interest Loans
Statistics show that many Nevadans are struggling with high interest loans, paying only the minimum amount required. We must take personal responsibility for our financial freedom.
Inadequate Financial Knowledge
Inadequate financial knowledge and student loan debt have become a massive obstacle to success and financial freedom for Nevada graduates. Students (all Nevadans) desperately need better financial education.
Northern Nevada has prospered due to financial stimulus, free market economics, and the business-friendly environment it offers. We must protect the strategic advantages Nevada offers.
We are making a difference
Numerous generous donors (individuals, couples, and organizations) committed funds to achieve a big goal.

Education Initiative Progress
Goal: For 2022, The Hayek Group is seeking to expand its reach in Northern Nevada high schools with the Dave Ramsey Foundations in Personal Finance curriculum and create a new financial fitness program for college aged young people using the Financially Fit Employees product. We have just reached a deal to place the Ramsey curriculum in ACE Charter High School, a for year deal for $12,000. We have implemented a trial for the Financially Fit Employees program for 21 college aged youth. For that we need to raise $7,100.
The Hayek Group recognizes and thanks our generous donors for their support. We invite you to join in the support of our goal of providing financial literacy education in every high school in Northern Nevada. The following donors are Hayek Group “Educational Ambassadors,” having donated at a level of $2,500 or more over the last 2 years.

The easiest way to support our financial education initiatives is to become an Educational Ambassador or a Hayek Group Member. Our High School initiative is extremely efficient with a cost of only $33 per student, but we need your help! If you are interested in donating your time, our entire program is operated by an all-volunteer board, and we would certainly welcome your help!
